Understand The Basics of Surd

Surd

Recently I wrote a post on exponential rules, where I explain the different set of rules that are used in mathematics (especially when working with algebra) that will lead to solving a particular question and arrive at a perfect answer "read more on exponential rules".

In that post, I mention about radical, but I did not go deep to it so, I decide to write another post, to explain the ins and out of radical and most essentially surd as the topic describe, for you the learner to get a good understanding and the concept of surd.

Radical is a symbol to represent square root and surd, radicals are irrational numbers,
don`t misuse radical symbol with the symbol use while am explaining the division of number. They are both different if you look close.

Essentially square root means when you multiply a number by itself two times and result in the number under the radical. Cube root means, multiplying the number by itself three times to result in the number under the radical.

Keep in touch there is more to explain the concept of Surd, like; addition, subtraction, multiplication, division "don`t worry you will get it nail down".
